MGNREGA BACHAO SANGRAM -TAMILNADU

On January 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a one-day symbolic hunger strike was organized near the Rajarathinam Sports Stadium in Egmore, Chennai, under the leadership of Tamil Nadu State President, Mr. Selva Perunthagai, MLA, to condemn the BJP government's move to weaken the 100-day employment scheme. KKC (State Department of Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress) office bearers including State Chairman Mr. V. Mageshwaran, State Vice Chairman Mr. Jayaramu, and Mr. Mohan Rao Choudhary; State Executive Committee members Mrs. Sulochana and Mr. Muralidharan; Central Chennai East District President Mr. Sivakumar; Tiruvannamalai North District President Mr. Venkatesan; Cuddalore West District Vice President Mr. Sakthivel; Chengalpattu North District Coordinator Mr. Guru Chandra; and North Chennai West District President Mr. Balaji, participated actively in the protest.
