Meeting against the Anti Poor Labour Codes

On 30th November 2025 a Street Corner Public Meeting was organised by Sk Araful Hazra, District Chairman of Howrah (Rural) District Unorganised Workers and Employees Congress against the Draconian Labour Codes at the centre of densely populated poor, marginalised Unorganised Workers mostly from minorities at Ajangachhi, Amra, Howrah.

Mr. Manas Banerjee, State Chairman of KKC-WB was the Chief Speaker. Advocate Smt. Urbashi Banerjee, General Secretary (Organisation) of KKC-WB was the honourable speaker also. Meeting was presided over by Sri Asit Mitra, Ex-MLA of the area and Vice President of WBPCC.

The meeting was deeply penetrated the local community against the Anti Labour, Anti Poor Labour Codes implemented by Draconian BJP Government.
